Learn Assist is a NOCN approved training provider and we offer security training for individuals to gain their SIA licence and work in the Security Industry.
At Learn Assist we deliver the Door Supervision training course from Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5pm. Completing this course and obtaining your SIA licence enables you to work on both licensed and unlicensed premises as a fully qualified Door Supervisor.
A fully qualified, professional trainer who understands the needs of the learner will conduct your training. Small classes will ensure you get the individual attention you require to help you pass the course and bring you one step closer to working in the security industry.
The course is divided into four modules:
• Communication and conflict management
• The role and responsibility of a door supervisor
• Common module, security knowledge
• Physical intervention
The course includes a multiple-choice or written test at the end of each module. The physical intervention module will also involve a practical assessment. On passing the course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement affiliated by Skills for Security with which to apply for your SIA licence. You must have a licence to work in the security industry.
We offer guidance with SIA licence application forms along with job searching advice.
We provide training manuals for you to keep and light refreshments. The course is available to everyone and no previous experience is necessary.
